How do monthly subscriptions work?

A monthly subscription is a recurring donation that is made in advance of the next month for a specified period of time. For example, there are currently 3-month, 6-month, 12-month, and 24-month subscriptions. To become a 3-month subscriber, for example, you would donate $30 today and request that donation be put towards a subscription for your account. There should be a notes section when making a donation that you can fill out. If you can't find it, just message Alex on Discord.

What is the cost of a subscription?

The current cost of a monthly subscription is $10 per month. As mentioned above, we offer 3-month, 6-month, 12-month, and 24-month subscriptions so the respective costs would be $30, $60, $120, or $240

What are the benefits to subscribing?

The first benefit is that subscribers receive an extra +10 all stats per $1.00 donated, including the subscription cost. So instead of +30 all stats per dollar, you will receive +40 all stats.

The second benefit is that subscribers will have access to purchase an exclusive monthly donation item, available only to subscribers and only during that month. Once the month is over, the item will no longer be available for purchase (but you can still use it if you have it, of course). New items will be announced on the forums here.

The third benefit is that you can claim the new "ADBZRPG Subscriber" trophy for your trophy case to show people you are a supporter of the site. It also adds +10 all stats in battle, like other trophies. You should also denote somewhere on your character profile your subscriber level and when the subscription began to make it easy for staff to determine if you are eligible to access one of the exclusive monthly items or not.

The fourth benefit is that subscribers may claim a bonus of +5 DP per update while their subscription is active. If you have multiple characters, this bonus may only be claimed on one of them each week.

Additionally, subscribers will be given a second chance to win contests and raffles for in-game items when they are held. That is, one winner will be chosen from all entrants, and a second winner will be chosen form subscribers who entered only.

What is the difference between the different level of subscriptions?

There is no difference between the 3, 6, 12, and 24 month subscriptions other than having access to the exclusive items for each of the months and you can renew at any time. You can buy two 3-month subscriptions back to back to become a 6-month subscriber for example.

Do subscriptions retroactively apply to previous donation credit?

No.
